A few weekends ago, I shot my senior pictures with Erika Therwhanger Photography. While all turn out lovely, I did not want to take the traditional senior pictures route (standing in a field of bluebonnets). I decided to shoot in Deep Ellum, a really cool grungy section of Dallas. I was amazed at how well they turned out. I went for three looks and tried to vary each as much as possible. The first we shot was the simple white top with jeans. To keep it fun I added the red heels. I also wanted to incorporate my pointe shoes, so I paired them with the simple white romper. Finally, for the more fun look, I adorned a shirt and shorts set that I picked up on my recent trip to New York. I felt like a bit of a walking Zara add since nearly all of my pieces were purchased there! I love how all of the looks contrasted so well with the background: the white and red with the blue wall, the dress with the grey cement, and the stripes with the bright graffiti. I am beyond pleased with the photos and will be sure to keep them forever.
