LA Trip: Part 1

This weekend, my mother and I took a trip to the wonderful Los Angeles to tour USC. I was truly so impressed, but actually quite upset about the fact the my decision about where to attend school in the fall is going to be nearly impossible. For this incredibly long day (wake-up call at 4:25 central time which translates to 2:25 in LA), I sported a new pair of pants that I have been itching to wear. I'm so obsessed with the oh-so trendy paper-bag waist and D-ring belt. I paired it with a simple cop top, slides, and aviators. As for later in the evening, which involved a lovely dinner at the Standard, I decided to pull out a fun white crop top, with black pants and a chrome belt. These belts are rather difficult to wear around your hips as the are in fixed position and completely circular (most hips are not shaped like that). The shoes were actually purchased hours earlier and I couldn't be happier! I've been looking for a cool metallic shoe for a while now. All in all, a wonderful day!
